Update on Covid-19 Safety Precautions

Blue Covid Update text on a light gray background

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. We have missed you and can’t wait to see you back in our office soon! We know these times have brought with them a lot of uncertainty, and we want to make sure you are aware that we have made some changes to protect our patients, our community, and our team.

Infection control has always been a top priority in our practice. We follow recommendations and guidelines made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

During this time, we have implemented additional safety precautions including increasing the time allotted for procedures in an effort to minimize wait times and limit the number of people in waiting areas. This might mean that fewer options may be available when scheduling appointments. We ask that you please be patient and understanding that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as we know many of you are anxious to get back into our office.

We ask that every patient entering the office wear a face covering and you will notice our team members doing the same. You may see less of our smiling faces under our masks, but know that we are smiling from ear to ear and thrilled to see you!

*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking increased precautionary measures regarding infection control as the safety of our team members and patients continues to be our top priority. As recommended by the American Dental Association, we are implementing procedure code D1999 for increased PPE usage for all appointments. Please be aware that your insurance may not have added this procedure code to your plan as a covered benefit and may result in a maximum charge of $10 to the patient.
