Implant Dentistry in Arlington, Virginia

Delivering lifelike, long-term implants in Arlington, Virginia

It’s important to replace missing teeth as soon as you can. Your oral health can be thrown entirely off balance when you lose a tooth, causing surrounding teeth to wear and break faster. This exposes your oral health to a greater risk for developing a disease and causing more problems. Components like bone structure can weaken and shrink, causing the shape of your face to change as well.

Virginia Dental Center can help you regain your smile and your oral health. With dental implants, you can effectively restore missing teeth with realistic and fully functional replacements.

Benefits of implant dentistry:

  • Realistic material restores the look and function of natural teeth
  • Prevent bone loss and gum recession
  • Enhanced stability
  • Improved bite strength
  • Regain control of your smile and oral health
  • With proper care, implants can last a lifetime
  • I first came to see Dr. Kern to get my caps replaced from an accident when I was younger. Dr. Kern was very helpful in showing me all the ways in which we could replace and revitalize my smile, which was something I had been ashamed of for quite sometime. She was even patient with me when I went back and forth several times to see the difference between replacing two of the crowns or perhaps changing and having four crowns, to align my smile. I chose to move forward with four crowns. I explained to Dr. Kern that I was to be in several weddings in the near future. Dr. Kern made sure to create a timeline which ensured that all the dental work would be completed in time. At the first wedding the bride (my sister) commented on how white and beautiful my teeth were. She told me she had been whitening her teeth for about two months but they still weren’t as white as mine. At the second wedding two months later, several people commented on how white my teeth were, even though I drank red wine. My experience with Dr. Kern was amazing! She is very personal and always makes sure to say hello when I see her outside of the dentist office. I would recommend her to anyone!

What are dental implants?

Dental implants consist of a small titanium “root” that is placed in the jaw. This root can replace a missing tooth or support crowns, bridges, and dentures. The titanium root eventually forms a natural bond to the jawbone, making for a solid foundation for replacement devices that can last a lifetime.
