How I can help your smile:
I believe being a good dentist begins with being an excellent listener. I take the time to help you understand your oral health so you can expand your dental knowledge, and minimize any anxiety you might have related to the dentist.
How I became a dentist:
My path in dentistry began at the University of Scranton where I double majored in Biology and Philosophy. From there, I continued to the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with my Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. With hard work, and a passion for dentistry I was able to graduate in the top 10 of my class, and received the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, for excellence in all areas of restorative dentistry. I completed my post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Clubs I participate in:
- American Dental Association
- Virginia Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists
- NOVA Academy of Dentists
- NOVA Institute for Advanced Dental Education
Outside of work:
I enjoy long distance running, listening to live music, and traveling with my husband. I have completed eight half-marathons and countless shorter-distance road races. I'm always trying to improve my golf skills, so tips and tricks are always appreciated!
