Stephanie Klassner, DMD

Dr. Klassner grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton with a double major in Biology and Philosophy. She earned her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry in 2009 from the University of Pennsylvania, where she ranked in the top 10 of her class and was chosen upon graduation to receive the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for excellence in all areas of restorative dentistry. Dr. Klassner completed a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
She practiced dentistry in Bethlehem, PA and just outside of Honolulu, HI before moving to Northern VA with her husband in 2016. What she enjoys most about dentistry is interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds, particularly children. She is a certified Invisalign provider and also enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry and smile design. She believes being a good dentist starts with being a good listener. Dr. Klassner is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, NOVA Academy of dentists, and the NOVA Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
In addition to her private practice experience, Dr. Klassner has provided urgent dental care to military service members through the Reserve Health Readiness Program since 2008. She has traveled to the Virgin Islands, Germany, and American Samoa, as well as military bases all over the United States to assess and improve the dental health of our military reservists. In her free time, Dr. Klassner enjoys long distance running, live music, and traveling with her husband Don. She has completed 8 half-marathons and countless smaller-distance road races. She is also constantly working on her golf skills and always welcomes new tips and tricks to improve her game!
