Welcome Dr. Amy Hassan to the Virginia Dental Center Team! Dr. Amy Hassan

Virginia Dental Center would like to welcome a new doctor to our team, Dr. Amy Hassan!

Dr. Hassan's path to dentistry began as an undergraduate student at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. While there she received a degree in Sociology. Upon graduating, she moved on to earn her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Soon after, Dr. Hassan completed two years of General Practice Residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Her time at NYU exposed her to a series of complex cases that allowed her to enhance her skill set and provide comprehensive oral care. After working tirelessly for her first year of residency, she was awarded the position of Chief Resident her second year. It was here Dr. Hassan continued to refine her skills in specialty fields such as endodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Hassan's mission will always be to take care of both the smile and the person behind it.
