Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are common, affordable, dental procedures used to restore teeth.

A filling is used when a dentist needs to restore tooth structure commonly caused by fractures or decay. Dental fillings are also used to restore decayed cracked, or chipped teeth, improve the appearance of stained teeth, change the shape of teeth, or close spaces between gapped teeth.

Before a filling is placed; cracks, decay and all old defective restorative materials (usually amalgam, gold, ceramic or old composite) are completely removed. Dental composite (white filling material) is placed over a bonding agent, which bonds composite to tooth structure.

Amalgam / Metal Fillings

For many years, amalgam/metal fillings were the only choice. As those fillings wear down, we can now replace them with a new colored composite filling. These fillings match the color of your teeth for more natural look and feel.

  • A dental experience like no other! This office is clean, modern, high tech, and has friendly staff and knowledgeable dentists. First off, they conveniently text you (aside from calling and emailing) to remind you of your visit. When you get there, you fill out your paperwork via an ipad - this was new and different for me. The waiting room is cozy with coffee, tea, and water at your leisure. And I barely had to wait. I was seen within two minutes. In the actual dental room, you can watch TV, and not basic cable, I'm talking every channel from ESPN to HGTV. This place has made me change my view about dental offices - I wouldn't mind going back!
